Sunday's Lectionary (3/19/17):
Year A: Third Sunday in Lent

Collect: Almighty God, who seest that we have no power of ourselves to help ourselves: Keep us both outwardly in our bodies and inwardly in our souls, that we may be defended from all adversities which may happen to the body, and from all evil thoughts which may assault and hurt the soul; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, on God, for ever and ever. Amen.

First Lesson: Exodus 17:1-7
Psalm: 95:6-11
Second Lesson: Romans 5:1-11

Classes, Events, and Announcements
Learning to Love Like Jesus: In every way, Jesus' life exemplifies the full potential of what we were intended to be. And the better we know Him, the more we will be drawn to follow His perfect example. Join us, on Sunday's at 11:30 a.m. in the Fireside Room, as we learn to love like Jesus.

PROMISES FOR LIFE (Monday Evenings in Lent): What determines the quality of lives? Circumstances? Talent? Luck? All these things may be important influences, but nothing shapes our lives more than Promises: the ones that are made To us, and the promises that We make. The Quality of the promises are crucial. Are they bad or good, mistakes or blessings? Are the promises kept, or are they broken? The Promises under consideration during these Lenten conversations are the Vows and Promises of our Baptismal or Confirmation covenants. Those adults considering Baptism, Reception, or Confirmation will find this program perfect for them--and the rest of us will find our faith renewed and refreshed by reviewing together those Promises of Life which give a framework to pursuit and hope of Eternal Life. See Fr. Ken with your questions. Join us Monday's!

April's Server Schedule: The proposed schedule for April is posted on the "Thee Bulletin Board" and can be found here. Please check carefully to see if you have any conflicts and inform the office so changes can be made.
